The CR-V makes its way into 2020 with a new attitude and a bundle of safety technology. Six well-equipped models join Canada’s streets this year, and each one offers your family plenty of features.
With one of the most eye-catching designs in its class, the CR-V is an instant hit on the streets. The redesigned bumpers are true to the vehicle’s form. The revamped grille and headlights work together to make an assertive first impression. Combined with plenty of standard exterior equipment, each trim adds its own accents.
The LX models have attractive 17” alloy wheels and functional highlights, such as a front wiper de-icer and body-coloured mirrors. The Sport’s 19” wheels emphasize grip, and the EX-L’s roof rails and LED fog lights add flash. When you need even more accents, the Black Edition and Touring trims include a panoramic moonroof and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
The 2020 Honda CR-V takes you more places
Honda provides one engine choice in this year’s model because it balances the right power with efficiency. The turbocharged four-cylinder, 190 horsepower engine generates a nimble 179 lb-ft of torque. Pack up the car with your family, because this power will give you a peace of mind on any road trip.
All trims except the LX-2WD feature an AWD system. This combines with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that provides more gear ratios, saving fuel and enhancing performance. The fuel consumption rating of 8.7/7.4 L/100 km (city/highway) is a welcome measure for any trip.
Sink into the feature-rich interior of the 2020 Honda CR-V
Whether you require safety, luxury, or an abundance of functional standard features, the CR-V model line has plenty of equipment. Starting with the LX series, you’ll warm up to heated front seats, dual-zone auto climate control, and a vibrant instrument panel. The racing-inspired features of the Sport model provide a more serious cabin, and the EX-L adds heated rear seats, woodgrain panels, and perforated leather seating surfaces. Set your mood with the Touring’s and Black Edition’s ambient lighting and nine-speaker audio system. However, there is so much more to experience in each trim.
