The Honda CR-V is one of the best-selling and most popular models in the compact SUV segment. For 2020, it receives several new features including a more aggressive and dynamic style and several new versions. What has not changed, however, is its impressive fuel economy rating.
Its turbo engine is one of the most powerful in the class, but it is also the most economical in the segment with an average fuel consumption rating of only 8.1 liters per 100 kilometers in the city. This impressive fuel economy earned the new Honda CR-V the green SUV title of the year by US publication Green Car Journal.
"Honda's CR-V is already efficient as a conventionally-powered model and well-established as a driver favorite," said Ron Cogan, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal and GreenCarJournal.com.
